“It was fantastic... I would recommend it 100%. Right from the first page I was into it. I actually loved the fact that it involves children. The way they all come together and become one so to speak. They listen and respect each others’ feelings. Also, the teachings were absolutely wonderful. About Mother Earth knowing that it takes one person to start making a difference and teamwork. The book is full of knowledge that can be used in our day-to-day life. Very well balanced between reality and imagination.”

"It informs/reminds the reader of important issues without lecturing and in an entertaining feel-good way. These days schools are much more involved in Indigenous teachings as well as Climate Change discussions. Perhaps having this book available would be an additional tool."

"I saw this quote and thought of you, Einstein once said “If you want your children to be intelligent read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent read them more fairy tales.” This made me think of you and why you chose a children’s story to write. Being a teacher you would grasp this idea, I think.
What I like about the book is the care and consideration the grandchildren had for the earth and each other. I also like the faith and trust the grandparents had in their grandchildren. There was a real understanding of how important it is to care for the earth and each other, which is lacking today I think. I love the idea of a spirit a animal, There was a real sense that they saw the reverence in everything. These are a few of my thoughts, there is so much knowledge in your book and it revealed a kind soul writing it."

I liked this book because the relationship among the grandparents and the grandchildren was very positive. This is a good reason for both children and adults to read this book. It shows how the world could be when there is respect among ...
